iCitizen is just days away now and we can hardly wait! So while we're attending to every last detail--inspiring content, seamless logistics and, of course, delicious food--we want to make sure you're prepared as well.
Two little things you can do to make sure you get the most out of the event: dress comfortably and be ready to connect. Simple, yes, but important. Let's break it down.
Dress the Part -- Once you step into the iCitizen flow you'll be so absorbed in the innovative ideas and fascinating people (much like yourself) that you'll hardly have a minute to deal with dapper but disappointing wardrobe choices. Dress comfortably. Most of us will be in agency attire (read: jeans).
Get the App -- We don't kid ourselves--we know at least half the point of these gatherings is to help you build your network, so we wanna help. In fact, we'll make it fun and rewarding (seriously, we've seen the prizes, you won't want to miss out). All you need to do before you come is download a QR (quick response) code reader on your phone. Get your mobile device ready to read these two-dimensional bar codes so you can participate in our Quick Connect activity (read: meet smart people and win cool prizes).
Here is a list of QR code readers. We recommend BeeTagg or I-nigma.
Living in the real-time web, we won't really sign off, but rather switch channels. Watch for our Tweets then come back here for blog updates throughout the symposium.
Rest up and see you soon!
